Mentor gathering at sentosa

Just a short update. I just got back from Sentosa for the mentor gathering. Overall it was very exciting although at first I don’t know so many people there. Thanks to my mom for asking my younger bro to tag along. At first I was reluctant to bring him but since my mom requested it in a very forceful manner I have no choice but to bring him along. Oh well, at least he is there to accompany me when we go all the way to the beach because practically I know none of them there and as usual everyone will stick to their own clique before getting to know one another.

I reached vivo city level 3 sentosa express exactly at 9.00am which means I am still punctual. I thought I was late and I scolded my brother for making me late. However, I was shocked when I was informed that I am early. I was the 5th one to arrive. Can u believe it? We have to wait for like 30 more people to arrive? Janji Melayu. Siapa tak tahu. So we headed to Palawan beach and got into our group. There were 4 groups namely cow, sheep, rooster and duck. I was in the sheep group while my brother was in the duck group.

The games that really used up our energy were the rumah dayak and the captain’s ball. Please understand that the guys run like ostrich and the girls run like chicken. Furthermore, compare the energy the guys have and the energy the girls have. So do you think we are able to win if our group lacks of guys? There were only 2 guys in my group but one of them backs out after the first game and that leave us with 1 guy. Nevertheless, we kept the spirit going and we still managed to win quite a number of games. Kudos guys!

After the rumah dayak and captain’s ball game, we had our lunch and performed zuhur prayer together. We continued with our last 2 activities for the day. The first one was a game where you will sure to get yourself wet. Everyone was given a spoon each. You are supposed to use the spoon to balance the ping pong ball and hold the spoon using your lips. When you reached the center line, run around the water bottle 10 times. Take the plastic cup which has 3 holes in it and used it to take water from the beach and run back to the center line to fill the bottle up with water. The group which has the most water wins and again that was my group. See, team spirit is important although we are lacking of team members. The last game was sandcastle building. The theme was to build a defence line against your own animal group. Since I was from the sheep group I would have to build a defense line with the sand and equipments given. We were given 30 minutes and by that time I was already too tired to even dig out the sand. So I just do what I can and after the 30 minutes ended, all the groups were given a ball each and we were given 5 shoots to destroy any group sandcastle or defense line. The losing team will have to do forfeit. Practically, all the game got forfeit lah.

The best thing is that, I never bring anything along. No sun tanned lotion, no extra clothing, nothing. I got wet but thanks to the sun I got dried later. If not I would get myself worried on how I should go back home in that condition. It was really scorching hot lah. Even the sand was too hot to step on. I got sunburn only at my nose. So not too bad right as compared to my adik, he got sunburn all over his body although he put on sun tanned lotion. This is because he was too talkative and irritating that the guys decided to throw him to the sea. So much for being a mulut murai adik.

Ok aku dah penat nih! Besok pergi jalan2 ngan mak bpk aku gi makan2. yay! And I hope my sun burn hilang secepat mungkin. Aku taknak gi keje ngan hidung merah cam clown. Ok tu je.
