School kids are driving me nuts
I reached my workplace super early today just to set up the datalogger cos they are using it at 7.35am and I cant set it up yesterday due to the enrichment lesson going on in the lab till late afternoon. The kids seemed to be a little excited when using the EKG sensor and they even run rounds the lab just to see the difference to their heart waves. Anyways, I was asked by the teacher to give them instructions on how to set up the EKG sensor. But as I was explaining I realized my voice was too soft so I shouted but it’s to no avail cos in the end I coughed out loud and in attempting to get the kids to look at the screen and pay attention, I shouted “girlssss!! Listen up lahhh! Woaaahhh.. You all are so noisy that I cant even hear my own voice okayyy.” And they laughed instead of keeping quiet. -_-" The teacher had to take over while I go round and help them with the set up since they cant follow the instructions given.
At the end of the lesson I realized something
· The kids in my school are too pampered.
· They get excited easily and due to that reason they don’t listen to instruction and do things wrongly.
· Now I know the reason why the teachers shout when they teach.
· The teachers in my school hate technology so much so that they are too dependent on me. If im on leave they will postponed their lab lesson. I dunno how many times they had called the trainer to come down to conduct datalogger session with them but still no improvement and the kids will be using datalogger for SPA next year.
Next week, the kids will be doing dissection of the sheep’s heart. They are all excited but at the same time they go ewwwww. Ape jek! So now we need to go to the market just to purchase 10 sheep’s hearts and the response we gonna get from the seller would be “huh? Bnyk nah. Mahu buat ape dgn hati kambing? Mahal tau satu hati.” Apa aku kesah mahal ke tak. Skola nyer duit pe. *grinz*
