Alive & Kicking =P

Dah semangat2… skali tupppp.. my cousins tak jadi pergi chalet because of school event. So batal la smue plan kita =(

Instead, I went to Sultan mosque for the MKS volunteering meet-up session. It was great although the turned out was quite disappointing. Like what Zainal said, it’s the quality that matters, not quantity. I miss savoring my time with volunteering work especially in mosques. Used to be active but the spirit diminished after sometimes. But alhamdulillah the spirit is back again. I love how MKS spread the spirit of volunteerism. I’ve always wanted to be alive and kicking with mosque activities but couldn’t get the ‘enthusiasm’ in me to live up the spirit.

After I started working, I’ve learnt the true meaning of being independent. I’ve always got feedbacks from friends that I’ve the courage to do things on my own without any friends to accompany me. Just take for example the Arabic class I attended during the weekend. A friend of mine commented that she respects me for being an independent person and if she was in my position, she wouldn’t attend the class without any buddy because the class requires you to always speak in Arabic.

But I always told my friends this,

“Do not depend on others because you’ll never get what you want if you rely too much on people. If you love to do something, just do it and enjoy the process.”

If you think too much especially about the cons of the process, trust me you’ll never be ‘there’. Always keep your NIAT right. I realized we all have the tendency of following our friends. If our friends don’t go, we don’t go. This is something we need to change. We should always do something because of Allah. NOT because of friends. Remember, if we do something because of HIM, insya’Allah He will help us and make the process easier for us and we’ll sure to enjoy it. Nevertheless, if you can get friends who love to encourage one another to do amal then that is really a plus point for you. Because I do understand that we need friends who can always give us the motivation and inspire us to do good deeds together. That is when the issue of choosing friends comes in. I am very particular with this issue; choosing the right friend, sahabat dunia akhirat because I know we’re easily influence by our friends. That’s why we need the right friends with the right attitudes. *grinz* tapi itu tak bermakna aku pinggirkan kwn aku yg lain. Ishhhh! Tak baik tu. Ingat! Allah tidak suka kepada orang yang memutuskan silatur rahim antara Hamba-hambanya. I always welcome my friends to join me because I too need friends who can motivate me when my spirit is plunging.

So those of you, who have nothing to do or dunno what to do at home and who loves to do volunteering work, do join us. MKS welcomes you with warm smiles and kind hearts :P

Next weekend, MKS will be having spring cleaning at MKS mosque to welcome the month of Ramadhan. So lets gotong-royong together2.

Anyways, those of you who loves to be in youth programmes at any mosque, you can check out with the respective mosque. I know Fityan Ghufran is quite active. Wildan istighfar is also quite active. Youth @ kassim is on the road of becoming active too. AFY (Al-Falah Youth) pun blh tahan lah. I am in sultanyouth which is still quite new. Beliawanis MKS tak tahu ape jadi. Dulu active skrg mute habis. Haha! But insya'Allah I’ll try to work out something with them so that their youth will be active once again.
