Carelessness kills!

Yesterday, early in the morning, I was called down to the general office. I was asked whether there are any confidential materials inside the lab. For once I was a bit blur. Why is the atmosphere so different? Very panicked and hectic suddenly. Then was told to run up to the chemistry lab to allow my OM to come in to have a look at the lab. Only to know that water is leaking and it is affecting the examination centre at the 2nd floor where the ‘N’ level examination is going to be held in 15 minutes time. Came in and guess what happened? WE FORGOT TO OFF THE DISTILLED WATER!!!! The whole lab is flooded!! Urgh!!! My OM even called the plumber to come down to our sch and he mentioned the word “emergency”. Haiyo! Everyone is so afraid to go down to the general office as we know we will be question on our carelessness. So we locked ourselves in the lab hoping that no one will look for us and furthermore the sign “out of bounds to unauthorized personnel” really helps us. Haha! Childish habis! And thennnnn my HOD came in and told all of us to sit in front of him. He questioned all of us and asked what if it happens during ‘O’ level? Later on, my lab attendants and my senior were asked by the office staff on what happened actually. And even the principal knows about it! How great can our carelessness cause? Been hearing so many stories about the principal. She can throw her temper as and when she likes until recently a staff actually resign after getting a bad scolding from her in front of the students.

‘O’ level preparation for physics is done. The required reagents for chemistry are done as well. We did everything in 2 days. Cpt tak? Apa tak asyik kene pressure ngan subject supervisor. Every single hour she will call me to check whether we are done.

Received an sms from kak aida regarding the mentor support group (MSG) meeting on this Saturday. Initially I told her I can make it but thennnnnn there was a changed of plan for the night of power and I have to report at 10am instead for the NOP final briefing. I felt guilty and apologies to her for not being able to turn up for the meeting.

The response for the NOP this year is a boom! I believe we managed to reach the targeted number of participants which is 200. Congrats to the committee members for putting in the effort to do a good publicity regarding the event. Ya Allah permudahkanlah urusan kami sebelum, sewaktu dan sesudah program ini.
