iFast + NOP

How should I grade the iFast camp? Hmmmm.. I have way too many feedbacks to give to my YDO (youth development officer) but I have no idea where to start. It’s just so complicated. As you know my feedbacks would be more to the Islamic aspects. I know im being too conservative but I can’t help it. It hit so bad on me when I see this and that happening. I’ve went to so many camps before and this camp really saddened me so much. Furthermore, it’s held in the mosque and to see our dear Muslims behaving this way is unacceptable. Im not trying to condemn people but I do see the need of our Muslims to pay a big respect to our own religion.

Some deeds which I can’t accept and ought to be improve.

• People ignoring the call for prayer (azan).
• Delaying congregation (jemaah) prayer
• People not putting on their hijab in mosque. There is a young lady who admitted donning her hijab for this event because she knows most activities will be held in the mosque. So if this young lady can do it I don’t see the reason why others can’t do it. Afterall, it just shows how much you respect the mosque as a place of worship.

The organizer.. haiz.. not say I want to kutuk but she should at least show good example to the others. I do understand she is also a youth just like us but to keep saying about sisha smoke as the penalty is soooo tak masuk akal. What kind of forfeit is that?! Bleargh!

Anyways, I didn’t expect the sesi ta’aruf to be like… indescribable. I dun mind it being informal but I expect hal peribadi to be kept as confidential and not expect people to confess and let it out. Mana perginya maruah diri sebagai seorang perempuan kalau dibuat begini.

If you realised i didnt say anything about the programme. Since it is her pilot project, i think she did quite well for it. All of us enjoyed the camp as a whole. I just hope she will do a better job the next time she conducts this same camp.

Semoga Allah mengampuni dosa-dosa kami semua. Im trying my best to do a lot of hafalan and I realized after I came back from the camp, hafalan bnyk dah lupa!! Is either that or i find it difficult to hafal surah. *ahh bish!* This is what I dun like about pergaulan bebas sgt (ok. I shall blame myself for this). Takut hati ni kotor sebab social sgt and im afraid hati ni rasa terhibur dgn maksiat walaupun sedetik. Tika itu iman mesti sedang tertekan dan menderita. Haiz.. Sekali hati kita terlarut dengan maksiat, walaupun sikit, susah nak sucikan balik. Hanya mujahadah yang boleh menjadi pertahanan, itupun kalau kita kuat bermujahadah. Bermujahadah pula bukan hanya pada luaran tapi pada hati itu juga, itu yang paling susah.

May Allah Azza wa jalla guides us in being good to one another and save us all from the evils of this world.

Ok now i owed the young sultan iFast report. ntah bila jek blh buat. 'ala kulli hal, I was asked whether I want to be the organizer, facilitator or participant for the Night of Power. As usual dilemma strikes me. Shall split myself into 3 then it’ll be easier. Takya nak decide2. *grinz* I have told all the young sultan to come down for this event and if possible at least be the facilitator for the event. I know they have the potential to be a gd facilitator. They’ve been organizing & leading the qiyam in their own school. So now all they need is a little more exposure outside school. They are all hype up for this event and I hope they are all up to the challenge too.

For those who have no idea where to send the NOP form to, you may send the application form to any of these 5 mosques; Kampung Siglap Mosque, Assyakirin Mosque, Hasanah Mosque, Sultan Mosque and Assyafaah Mosque. But if you think u're too bz or lazy to drop by the mosque, then email the application form to me. i pass it to my YDO.

Anyways, been planning so much to qiyam on the last 10 days of Ramadan even on weekdays. Since my workplace is accessible to many places, i can travel round singapore. I can go to MKS, Al-muttaqin, Al-istiqamah, Mujahidin, Sultan, An-Nahdhah, Al-Falah and the list goes on. Although im working, I shouldnt make that as an excuse. Lepas solat subuh terus bergerak gi keje. Kemahuan yg baik pasti ditunjukkan jalan oleh-Nya. Nak seribu daya taknak seribu dalih. Lgpun Ramadan dtg setahun sekali. Blm tahu pun whether we can meet the next Ramadan. So rebutlah peluang ini utk menggandakan pahala kita. Anyone wanna join me? we go qiyam together2. hehe
